Bonus/Festival Allowance, Onam Advance - 2026

Orders has been issued for Sanctioning Bonus/Special Festival Allowance and Onam Advance to Govt Employees and Persioners for the year 2026. Vide GO(P) No.92/2026/Fin Dated 14/08/2026, Sanctioned Bonus of Rs.4500/- to Employees whose Gross Salary excluding HRA and other compensatory allowances, not exceed Rs.49,275/- (New Scale) or Rs.44,462/- (Old Scale) as on 31/03/2026. Those employees who are not eligible for Bonus , will get Special Festival Allowance @ 3000/-. As per Order GO(P)No.91/2026/Fin Dated 14/08/2026, Onam Advance sanctioned Rs.20000/- or in multiple of 1000 limited to 20000/- and the advance will be recovered in five eaqual installment from the salary of October 2026 onwards. Part-time Contingent Employees and CLR/NMR employees eligible for Onam Advance for 6000/-. Read the orders below for more details.
